Spyware and Malware Computer Damage

August 17th, 2009

People have heard of malware, but many computer users do not realize just how bad these pieces of malware software can be. A virus can and usually is installed to perform havoc and share its infection to other PCs. The part of the spyware that causes harm to other programs is referred to as the payload. The payload is the area that people need to avoid and the best way that this is done is through the use a spyware blockers software.

So what are some ill effects of the payload or the “bomb”? First off they can be used as a joke or just to “prove” that they can invade your firewall. Sometimes hackers will send viruses to your PC and leave inappropriate pop-ups as a joke. These people just want you to know they have succeeded in sending and installing a virus on your computer. They will write a stupid message or alerts like, “gotcha” to confuse the computer user. If you see a message like this, quickly add a spyware blockers program on your computer.

Some hackers want to spread their infection and message or manipulate other computer users to share their message. Some malware will create a communication channel and will allow hackers to send spam from your computer. The common reason why they do this is to allocate the illegal activity away from them and point the finger at you. Spam will unknowingly get channeled from your PC and you will get the blame. You can figure out whether any malware or virus programs are being processed on your computer by running a free spyware blockers program.
