Another reason to check you rankings is to discover what works and what doesn’t work. If you make a site change or try a new link building method, the fruits will normally be evidenced in what happens to your rankings. You can also see fruits of any changes in the organic traffic you are sent, large dips or peaks can mean you are either doing something wrong or right.
